STIRRING BAR PTFE DISP 1/2X1/8 PK100 is a 1/2'' X 1/8'' dispenser pack of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene) coated stirring bars ideal for use with magnetic and overhead stirrers in laboratories, universities or industrial settings. PTFE provides excellent chemical resistance, non-stick properties, low surface energy and temperature range from -200C to +260C making it suitable for a variety of solutions or solvents. It comes with a convenient dispenser pack that makes it easy to pull out the stirring bar as needed while keeping the rest stored away for future use. This versatile stirring bar is perfect for applications in fields such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical, Electronics and more.
Ideal for single use applications such as for reactions involving radioactive reagents or when cross contamination might be a concern. The multifaceted stirring bar surface adds turbulence relative to similar size smooth cylindrical stirring bars. Teflon® PTFE encapsulated and autoclave safe.
