This Pentair Raychem® mechanical thermostat can be used to control a single heat-tracing circuit, as a pilot control of a contactor switching multiple heat-tracing circuits, or to control a contactor coil. Designed as a control for pipe freeze protection, it can be used in ambient-sensing mode with sensor in air, or in line-sensing mode with sensor placed on a pipe or tank wall. 40°F fixed set point.
