The hoses have a smooth surface that resists the growth of microbes, and they are built on stainless-steel mandrels to maintain high standards for cleanliness during manufacturing. The hoses' smooth EPDM cover resists dirt and scuffs and can be cleaned.

Bulk food and beverage hoses are used to create custom hose assemblies for moving edible dry food and drinkable (potable) liquids. They are primarily used in industrial food- and beverage-processing applications. Bulk food hoses and bulk beverage hoses are made from materials that meet or exceed FDA and USDA sanitary standards for food contact. They can be cut to the desired length and compatible hose fittings can be added to the ends of the hoses for connecting them to equipment.
