Hydrometer Brix 0/35 MPN:B61800-1100

Made from optical-quality polycarbonate material, this plain form hydrometer is durable and shatterproof. It's ideal in situations where rough handling or contamination could be an issue, such as in the food or beverage industries. This hydrometer measures % sucrose by weight in Brix. It is 300mm (12") long, contains lead-free ballast, is serialized, and has a temperature standardization of 20°C. The easy-to-read black-scale-on-yellow back helps avoid eye fatigue. It's packaged with a multilanguage (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST.

Note: Polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or other corrosives that would potentially affect the plastic material. They should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place, and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
