They are constructed with double-braided fiberglass outer sheaths and separable molded plugs. High-temperature tie-downs help to simplify installation. Suitable for electrically conductive surfaces. Self-Regulating Heating Cables are suitable for extreme cold for temperatures down to -40°F or -40°C. The industrial-grade cords offer 60% more wattage than typical, self-regulating heating cables. No temperature controller is required. They are ideal for freeze protection and thawing in metal or plastic pipes and valves, or small tanks and vessels. The cables automatically adjust heat output based on surface and ambient temperature. They are easy to install, and are preassembled with power cords and plugs. Indoor or outdoor use. Grounded for safety.
