With a spherical disc design for greater durability and improved Cv, this Asahi butterfly valve has full seat construction that helps isolate the body and stem from the media and acts as mating flange gaskets. Integral body stops in the valve body help prevent overtightening of the mating flanges. The gear handle comes with a Plasgear™ operator designed with composite plastic and a black urethane coating for rust and corrosion resistance even when exposed to harsh chemicals.
