The stainless steel pipe nipple is a male and female pipe fitting designed to provide a temporary or permanent connection between pipes. This unit measures 1 NPT female thread one end and straight plain the other. The nipple's material is made of Grade 304 and 304L stainless steel, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance, temperature resistance and mechanical properties in most applications. Typical uses include use in plumbing, heating systems, cooling system, fuel lines, air conditioning, sprinkler systems, chemical process piping, hydraulics and pneumatics, marine environments and more. Key specifications include ASTM 320, ASTM F437-A (type 304), dimension tolerance in accordance with ASME B16.9 (standard for pipe flanges) and a threading system conforming to ASME B1.20.1.
