The TimePilot Tap+ Time and Attendance System is a pocket-sized, battery-powered electronic replacement for the old-fashioned punch card timeclock. With Tap, each employee’s hours are calculated instantly, without the delays and math errors that result from doing it by hand. The Tap clock goes anywhere: a pocket, a toolbox or in the cab of your truck. The rechargeable battery in the Tap clock will run for a year without a recharge. Each employee receives a key-sized iButton and taps it to the clock to clock in and out. Ten iButtons are included in the Starter Kit. The clock and software can handle as many as 2,000 employees with no extra fees—just add iButtons (Grainger item No. 36FN06). When it’s time to do payroll, use the included USB cable to connect the Tap clock to your computer and the TimePilot software will download the data. In the software you can make corrections, generate reports or prepare the data for export to a spreadsheet or the top payroll software and services like QuickBooks or ADP. Includes rounding, overtime, holiday pay, multiple shifts, multiple departments, reports by group or employee.
