The Standard Abrasives™ cartridge roll mandrel is a tool attachment that holds an abrasive cartridge roll (sold separately) to your power tool. The shank end fits into the tool chuck or collet while the pilot end fits into the arbor hole on the cartridge roll. Use mandrel with cartridge roll to grind and finish hard-to-reach areas, including angles and curves. Helps users get inside diameters and holes to quickly grind and finish. • Mandrel enables access to tight spaces with a cartridge roll • Plated steel construction for added durability Note: For safety, the mandrel pilot length used to drive a cartridge roll should measure at least 1/2" less than the overall length of the cartridge roll. For example, if a cartridge roll measures 2" in overall length, the corresponding mandrel should have a pilot length of no less than 1-1/2".
