These powered-lift/manual-push mobile scissor-lift tables have an electric linear actuator that raises or lowers their platform faster, quieter, and more accurately than tables with hydraulic or hand-crank lifting mechanisms. They are used in areas where noise must be kept to a minimum, such as high-tech manufacturing, retail stores, offices, and medical facilities. The battery-powered actuator is controlled with a push button and doesn't use hydraulic fluid that can leak or need to be replaced. The tables must be pushed manually to move them from one place to another. The tables' scissor-style support frame lets their platform be raised or lowered to a wider range of heights than post-lift tables. The platform sits close to the ground when fully lowered, so heavy items don't need to be lifted far during loading and unloading.
