A durable sapphire prism delivers 2.5x more conductivity to temperature than a conventional glass prism, for greater accuracy of the Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) calculation. 4x harder than glass, the sapphire prism also provides long service life, even when used in highly demanding applications. It has a wide reading range and best-in-class accuracy of ±0.0001 Refractive Index, so you can use just one instrument to measure a variety of different samples. IR Communications Package lets you transfer the reading log, calibration log, and custom scales to any lab PC for analysis.
