The Pneumatic Actuator is designed with features that provide exceptional performance, accuracy, reliability and durability. It can operate valves up to 10 inches in length and provides output pressures from 3 - 13 psi (20 - 90 cm). With an operating temperature range of -40 to 250F (-40 to 121C), this actuator is ideal for harsh environments. Its compact size makes it suitable for applications where space is limited and can easily fit into most systems. It has a low profile design that reduces strain on other system components, provides high repeatability and position control accuracy of 0.5% or 1/4 turn respectively.
Featuring a replaceable, ozone-resistant, EPDM rubber, rolling diaphragm, this POWERS CONTROLS pneumatic actuator is a totally enclosed pneumatic piston type actuator. Model is designed to operate dampers for ventilating systems, mixing box control, and other applications that require a large diaphragm area and long stroke. Actuator is suitable for control of outdoor, return air, exhaust, face and bypass, fan discharge, and static pressure control dampers. Can also be used in specialized dampers and air valves found in terminal units such as unit ventilators and mixing boxes.
