Reducing Union Brass CPIxCPI 3/8Inx1/4In
This reducing union is made from brass, featuring male and female connections on both sides to allow for smooth transition between two different pipe sizes. The CPI x CPI male threads meet at one end while the 3/8 inch male thread is on the other end, giving it the ability to reduce the pipe size from 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch. It is constructed out of high quality materials for durability and corrosion resistance, making it perfect for use in various plumbing applications where pipes need to be joined or reduced in size.
With a compression design that allows for easy assembly, this versatile PARKER CPI™ reducing union provides a leaktight seal for high pressure, vibration, and vacuum in gas or liquid applications. Features a single-ferrule design creates a dynamic seal on tube and body, with close tolerance of nut and body dimensions for accurate tube alignment. Fitting won’t twist the brass tubing during installation so that the mechanical integrity of the tubing is preserved. Has a 4:1 safety factor with respect to the working pressure capabilities of the tubing used. For use in refineries, chemical processing, power generation, and impulse lines.
