This handy little adapter is perfect for this transition period from the older USB Type-A standard to the new USB 3.1 Type-C standard. It features both a USB Type-A and a USB Type-C connector, allowing you to plug it into any USB 2.0, 3.0, or 3.1 port using with a Type-A or Type-C connector. A microSD card slot is embedded within the Type-A connector, which is compatible with any size or type of microSD card. When fully inserted into the Type-A connector, the microSD card is virtually invisible. A small button on the connector head ejects the card sufficiently to allow it to be removed. This is a true plug-n-play device, which requires no drivers, installations, or configurations.
