A durable carbide material construction of this square end mill offers superior wear resistance while cutting various materials with precision and reliability ideal for roughing, profiling or finish applications on steel, aluminum, brass, cast iron or other tough materials. Features a 9/64 inch diameter along with a 0.562 inch length of cut perfect for chip clearance when working with tight radii while the four flutes allow for higher metal removal rates providing increased cutting accuracy at various depths of material thicknesses, resulting in quick material removal during operations.
These narrow general purpose band saw blades are used to cut a variety of common materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and softer metals such as brass. General purpose blades are often in maintenance shops where a variety of materials are cut so blades don't have to be changed between cuts. Narrow band saw blades are up to 1/2" wide and are flexible for making curved cuts on vertical band saws.
