Fume Absorber Single MPN:3955200

This fume absorber is ideal for light-duty applications involving ammonia, formaldehyde, organic solvents, and low molecular weight amines. It features carbon filtration to trap vapors, ensuring only safe, filtered air is returned to the laboratory. No outside ducting is required. A quiet, built-in motorized impeller helps provide face velocity up to 35fpm. A rear-mounted air sampling port allows testing the saturation of the carbon filter using detector tubes (available separately). The portable, low-profile enclosure fits easily on countertops with overhanging cabinets. Powder-coated steel housing helps to prevent corrosion, and a perforated baffle helps provide uniform airflow. A shatterproof, 0.95cm (3/8") thick canopy constructed of clear acrylic helps to keep fumes centralized.
