These low-profile metal-shelf utility carts have two rear corner posts and a front central pillar that support the carts' top shelf. This reduces obstructions when moving items onto or off of the carts compared to a cart with four corner supports. The carts' shelves are made of tubes and have a flush surface that allows items to slide onto or off of them for loading and unloading. Dirt and debris can fall through the spaces between the tubes, which helps keep the carts clean.

Low-profile metal shelf and utility carts have a top shelf that is set at a lower height than other styles of metal-shelf utility carts. This reduces how far bulky or heavy items must be lifted when loading them onto the top shelf of the carts. These wheeled carts are used to organize, transport, and store items, and they have open metal shelves that allow items to be efficiently loaded and unloaded onto or off of them.
