When customers initiate a return for an order that they previously used their GoVets cash rewards towards, those GoVets Dollars will be forfeited. That is, the amount originally paid by the customer will be returned to their original payment method, not including the GoVets Cash Rewards dollars used for the purchase.
When customers initiate an exchange for an order that they previously used their GoVets cash rewards towards, those GoVets Dollars will apply towards the exchanged item. If the customer exchanges an item for a more expensive item, they will need to pay for the difference for the price of the more expensive item. If the customer exchanges an item for a less expensive item that is similar to the original item purchased, the GoVets Cash Rewards will still be applied to the less expensive item and the customer will receive a partial refund for the difference of the original item and the less expensive item.
