This cam and groove gasket is ideal for applications where both pressure and temperature resistance is required, as it can handle up to 125psi and withstand temperatures ranging from -40F to +400F (-40C to +204C). Its dimensions measure 1-3/16 inch inside diameter and outside diameter while being made of durable fiber material, ensuring a secure seal for pipe flanges or connections in various industrial settings such as oil refineries, power plants or chemical industries. Easy to cut with scissors and easy installation by pressing into place, reducing downtime and maintenance costs over time.
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) cam and groove gaskets provide excellent ozone resistance, good chemical and temperature resistance, but poor resistance to petroleum fluids. EPDM gaskets are used for outdoor applications including agriculture, construction, and food and dairy processing.
