The motor switch is designed to meet UL489 hazardous location standards ensuring it's safe for use in high risk environments where explosive gases or dust may be present. Its current rating of 30 amps and voltage capacity of 600 volts make it ideal for operating heavy-duty industrial machinery while its NEMA Type 1/2 enclosure provides IP50 ratings, offering protection against dust and rain. This manual switch is easy to install with a dead end design allowing one or two motors to be easily controlled, making it useful in oil rigs, mills, mines, chemical plants, textile plants and many other locations where motors are utilized daily.
