For use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC, this explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof union joins conduit and connects it to enclosures. It facilitates modifications and permits the removal of enclosures without the turning or removal of conduit. A smooth, rounded bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation. The accurately tapped, tapered threads provide tight, rigid joints and ground continuity.
