The stainless steel flexible coupling is an adaptable material specifically designed to cater to the needs of industries with high performance demands such as power generation, paper mills, oil & gas refineries, food processing plants and chemical factories. This explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof flexible coupling is for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC. A smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation. The accurately tapped, tapered threads provide tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. The heavy-duty design resists mechanical abuse. Both end fittings are female, and each is furnished with a removable male nipple.
