The bronze flexible coupling provides durable, versatile motion transmission capable of handling varying degrees of misalignment making it suitable for use with electric or gasoline powered motors in hazardous locations where corrosion & harsh environments pose threats to safety; its trade size 1.5 x ODs from 1/2 - 4 accommodates an extensive range of industrial applications while being built to last ensuring dependable connections are maintained even when handling pressure from different angles making it ideal for use in critical systems that require leakproof connections.
This explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof flexible coupling is for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC. A smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation. The accurately tapped, tapered threads provide tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. The heavy-duty design resists mechanical abuse. Both end fittings are female, and each is furnished with a removable male nipple.
