D1066 Deadlatch RH or LHR manufactured by Sargent Manufacturing Co., is designed to provide security and convenience for doors and cabinets with ease of use. Measuring 1-1/8 latch projection, this hardware is ideal for both interior or exterior applications with 4-2/3 in Length and featuring a corrosion-resistant finish making it perfect to withstand harsh conditions both indoors and outdoors. A great option when extra security or privacy needs arise at home, office or commercial establishments without sacrificing the simplicity of operation. D1066 offers versatility in its function since it can be installed either right-handed (RH) or left-handed (LH).
The 4510 Series Deadlatch is made to be compatible with an aluminum door. A reverse key turn while the bolt is held retracts the latchbolt, allowing 2-way traffic. When latchbolt is extended, exit-only traffic is allowed. Compatible with an standard 1-5/32" mortise cylinder where an MS cam is installed. An auxiliary bolt helps prevent shimming.
