D1066 Deadlatch is a heavy-duty door lock featuring a long throw latch for added protection and convenience, offering increased deadlocking length on the top jaw. It has a key alike kit that operates all lockcases with equal ease and is suitable for internal/external doors where secure door locks are required. With its robust design and durability, D1066 Deadlatch is ideal for securing premises in residential or commercial settings, schools, hospitals, and other public buildings. Additionally, it comes with a full mortise kit to enable easy installation, allowing end-users to customize their security options accordingly.
The 4510 Series Deadlatch is made to be compatible with an aluminum door. A reverse key turn while the bolt is held retracts the latchbolt, allowing 2-way traffic. When latchbolt is extended, exit-only traffic is allowed. Compatible with an standard 1-5/32" mortise cylinder where an MS cam is installed. An auxiliary bolt helps prevent shimming.
