Additionally, it can be used as an strain reliever, providing protection from abrasion, impacts or sharp edges and has great performance in moisture resistance ensuring secure connections that last. Typical applications of this shrink tubing include wire & cable organization, color coding and identification on wiring harnesses or electronic circuits for boats, planes, automobiles and many other industries where safety is key.
Standard heat shrink tubing is used in general purpose industrial and commercial applications. It's flexible to conform to irregular shapes. It covers wire and cable and shrinks with heat to insulate, bundle, color-code, or provide strain relief.
