These gasket sheets are made from neoprene foam. Made of pure neoprene and has a good balance of strength oil chemical and uv resistance making neoprene the most commonly used foam material. It lasts longer in outdoor applications and with use with oil and chemicals. Characteristics include resists degradation from sun ozone and weather displays outstanding physical toughness can be used in applications with a wide temperature range and performs well when in contact with oils and many chemicals. Neoprene can also resist swelling when in contact with oil. Common applications include industrial gaskets to seal water air dust and other environmental items automotive gaskets and athletic equipment.
