These gasket strips are made from silicone foam. Silicone displays excellent resistance to high and low temperatures and long-lasting material that returns to its shape after compression longer than other foam materials. The textured skin provides more grip. Common characteristics include wide operating temperature compression set resistance resistance to uv and ozone extreme resilience to mechanical fatigue and good chemical and water resistance. Applications include gaskets heat shields fire stops cushions and insulation for a wide variety of applications. The high temperature adhesive performs at a much higher temperature range so that the adhesive meets or exceeds the material temperature range.
