This intumescent rubber gasket, embedded with glass fiber mesh, rapidly expands to form a dense, highly insulative char when exposed to fire, sealing the void against the spread of flames and hot gases. Suitable for window wall and hybrid window wall construction, it installs between the floor and aluminum framing, or directly to panel framing, and is tested to ASTM E2307 for window wall assemblies.
