This HSM 22-sheet shredder was specially designed with 4 special modes to help you conserve energy. This cross-cut shredder operates quietly for fewer distractions and accepts letter- and legal-size documents. 4 special modes ensure reduced energy consumption. In auto shut-down mode, all unnecessary electrical consumption is switched off or reduced after 2 minutes of idle time. The automatic switch-off mode shuts down the B34C completely if it is not used for 4 hours. In temporary mode, the Securio runs for just 10 seconds, then automatically switches off again. For large shredding jobs, permanent mode can be selected, for continuous operation throughout the day. Shreds up to 22 sheets in a single pass. Operates at a quiet sound level. Shreds pages into 0.19in x 1.13in pieces. Reaches a maximum shred speed of 17ft per minute (fpm). Ultra-durable cutters slice easily through CDs, credit cards, staples and paper clips. Features auto and manual reverse and auto start/stop. If there is a jam, the B34C automatically moves in reverse, or you can move it manually. Includes a large 20.4-gallon pullout wastebasket.
