Upgrade your machinery with Ruland's high-torque zero-backlash Keyed Clamp Bellows Coupling. Ideal for responsive systems in semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment, this coupling features anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows for a lightweight, low-inertia design. The addition of keyways increases torque capacity and prevents slipping, while the four-convolution bellows accommodates misalignment and provides high torsional stiffness. With a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds, this coupling is perfect for applications requiring precision and reliability. Its compact size and metric hardware make it a great choice for a variety of industries and applications.
Top product features:
High torque zero-backlash coupling
Anodized aluminum hubs and stainless steel bellows create a lightweight low inertia coupling
Four convolution bellows design provides higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This keyed clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. The addition of keyways allows for increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued. It has 0.500" x 10mm bores, 1/8" x 3mm keyways, 1.625" (41.3mm) OD, and 2.000" (50.8mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
