This high-torque, zero-backlash bellows coupling is designed for responsive systems in demanding industries such as semiconductor, solar, and test and measurement equipment. The keyed clamp type bellows coupling features two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows, providing a lightweight and low-inertia design with increased torque capacity and resistance to slipping. Ideal for applications requiring high torsional stiffness and flexibility, this coupling accommodates all types of misalignment and operates at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM with reduced vibration. Suitable for printing equipment, it offers a reliable and efficient solution for precision applications.
Top product features:
High torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems
The addition of keyways allows for increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued
The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This keyed clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. The addition of keyways allows for increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued. It has 1.250" x 1.250" bores, 1/4" x 1/4" keyways, 2.250" OD, and 3.200" length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
