For responsive systems in semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment, Ruland's Clamp Bellows Coupling provides high torque and zero-backlash performance. Its lightweight, low inertia design accommodates all types of misalignment, while the four convolution bellows offer higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities. With a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM, this coupling is ideal for applications requiring precise motion control. Its anodized aluminum hubs and stainless steel bellows ensure durability and resistance to corrosion, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial environments.
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. It has 1.000" x 15mm bores, 2.000" (50.8mm) OD, and 2.313" (58.8mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
