The Ruland Slit Coupling is a precision-engineered component designed for high-speed applications up to 12,000 RPM. Its zero-backlash, balanced design and single-piece aluminum construction ensure reduced vibration and low inertia, making it ideal for demanding industries such as aerospace, medical, and robotics. The coupling's long design provides increased torque and misalignment capabilities, protecting sensitive bearings and extending equipment lifespan. Its compact size and versatility make it suitable for a wide range of applications, including gearboxes, pumps, and motors, where precise motion control and high-speed operation are critical.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 12,000 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is clamp style and has 6mm x 4mm bores, 13.0mm OD, and 20.00mm length. This long slit coupling has increased torque and misalignment capabilities when compared to short styles. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
