The Ruland Controlflex Cplng Hub is a versatile and customizable coupling solution for applications requiring high torque capacity and low inertia. Its double insert design allows for higher torque transmission and accommodates wide distances between shaft ends, making it ideal for use in encoders, tachometers, resolvers, and light duty power transmission applications. With speeds of up to 15,000 RPM and a balanced design, this hub is suitable for a wide range of industries, including robotics, medical devices, and industrial automation. Its compact size and lightweight construction make it an excellent choice for applications requiring precision and reliability.
Top product features:
Lightweight design for reduced inertia
Zero-backlash coupling for precise transmission
Balanced design for high-speed applications up to 15000 RPM
Ruland supplied Controlflex couplings are a lightweight, low inertia, and zero-backlash coupling designed for use in encoders, tachometers, resolvers, and light duty power transmission applications. This clamp style double insert type hub requires the user to mate it with one other hub and two acetal inserts. The multiple piece construction allows for a highly customizable coupling that easily combines clamp hubs with inch, metric, keyed, and keyless bores. This hub has a 8mm bore, 37.0mm OD, and 10.0mm length. The use of two inserts allows for higher torque capacity than single insert styles. It is longer than equivalent single insert Controlflex types to couple systems with wide distances between shaft ends. It has a balanced design and can accommodate speeds of up to 15000 RPM. This Controlflex hub is RoHS and REACH compliant and manufactured by Schmidt Kupplung in Germany.
