For high-torque applications in responsive systems, Ruland's Clamp Bellows Coupling is a reliable solution. This zero-backlash coupling features anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows, providing a lightweight and low-inertia design. With a four-convolution bellows, it offers higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities, making it suitable for semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. Its balanced design reduces vibration at high speeds up to 10,000 RPM, and its metric hardware meets DIN 912 12.9 standards. Ideal for applications requiring flexibility and misalignment compensation, this coupling is a valuable addition to any machinery or equipment.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for responsive systems
Four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. It has 8mm x 0.250" bores, 1.000" (25.4mm) OD, and 1.313" (33.3mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
