This Ruland supplied slit coupling is ideal for high-speed applications up to 7,500 RPM, offering reduced vibration and increased torque and misalignment capabilities. Made from a single piece of aluminum, it features two sets of slit cuts for low inertia and high torsional stiffness. Suitable for use in a variety of applications, including machinery, engines, and gearboxes, this coupling accommodates all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads, protecting small sensitive bearings. Its compact design and zero-backlash performance make it an excellent choice for precision machinery and equipment.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 7,500 RPM.
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness.
Accommodates all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads to protect small sensitive bearings.
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 7,500 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is set screw style and has 0.313" x 0.250" bores, 0.787" OD, and 1.024" length. This long slit coupling has increased torque and misalignment capabilities when compared to short styles. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
