This zero-backlash Slit Coupling is ideal for applications requiring high precision and reliability in confined spaces. Its balanced design and low inertia enable smooth operation at high speeds up to 10,000 RPM, making it suitable for use in machinery, robotics, and automation. The coupling's high torsional stiffness and ability to accommodate all forms of misalignment protect sensitive bearings and extend equipment lifespan. Its compact size and low weight make it an excellent choice for applications where space is limited, such as in medical devices, aerospace, and precision machinery.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia and high torsional stiffness
Accommodates all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads
Top product applications:
Gearbox applications where space is limited
High-speed applications that require reduced vibration
Precision machinery where low inertia and high torsional stiffness are necessary
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 10,000 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is clamp style and has 5mm x 5mm bores, 16.0mm OD, and 19.75mm length. This short style slit coupling can fit in confined spaces where the long style may not fit. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
