This Ruland supplied slit coupling is a high-performance solution for applications requiring zero-backlash, high torsional stiffness, and reduced vibration at speeds up to 7,500 RPM. Its unique design and aluminum construction enable low inertia, no maintenance, and increased torque and misalignment capabilities. Suitable for applications with small sensitive bearings, this coupling accommodates all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads. Ideal for use in high-speed machinery, robotics, and precision equipment, this long slit coupling provides a reliable and efficient connection. Its compact design and RoHS/REACH compliance make it a versatile choice for a wide range of industries and applications.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 7,500 RPM
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 7,500 RPM
Two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 7,500 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is set screw style and has 10mm x 0.313" bores, 0.787" (20.0mm) OD, and 1.024" (26.00mm) length. This long slit coupling has increased torque and misalignment capabilities when compared to short styles. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
