The Ruland Clamp Bellows Coupling is a high-performance, zero-backlash coupling designed for responsive systems in demanding applications such as semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. Its lightweight, low-inertia design and four-convolution bellows provide exceptional torque and torsional stiffness capabilities. The coupling's balanced design minimizes vibration at high speeds, up to 10,000 RPM, and its metric hardware exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards. Ideal for accommodating all types of misalignment, this coupling is suitable for applications requiring precision and reliability, including machinery, equipment, and systems where high-speed rotation and precision are critical.
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. It has 0.500" x 10mm bores, 1.000" (25.4mm) OD, and 1.313" (33.3mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
