This aluminum bellows coupling is designed for high-torque applications in responsive systems, such as semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. Its lightweight and low inertia design reduces vibration at high speeds, while its balanced design accommodates all types of misalignment. With a four-convolution bellows, it offers higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities. Suitable for applications requiring zero-backlash and high precision, this coupling is ideal for use in machinery and equipment where smooth operation and reliability are critical. Its compact size and metric hardware make it a versatile solution for a variety of industries and applications.
Top product features:
High torque zero-backlash capability
Four convolution bellows design for higher torque and torsional stiffness
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. It has 0.625" x 10mm bores, 1.625" (41.3mm) OD, and 2.000" (50.8mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
