This high-torque bellows coupling is designed for responsive systems in industries such as semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing. Its lightweight, low-inertia design allows for precise control and reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. The coupling's balanced design and four convolution bellows provide increased torque and torsional stiffness, accommodating various types of misalignment. Ideal for applications requiring high precision and reliability, this coupling is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including robotics, automation, and medical equipment. Its durable construction and compliance with international standards ensure a long-lasting and efficient performance.
Top product features:
High torque zero-backlash coupling design for responsive systems
Keyed clamp type design allows for increased torque capacity and prevents slipping on the shaft
Four convolution bellows design provides higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This keyed clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. The addition of keyways allows for increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued. It has 1.000" x 1.000" bores, 1/4" x 1/4" keyways, 2.000" OD, and 2.313" length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
