This high-torque, zero-backlash bellows coupling is designed for responsive systems in industries such as semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. The keyed clamp type coupling features a lightweight, low-inertia design with increased torque capacity and a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Its four-convolution bellows accommodates all types of misalignment and provides higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities. Suitable for applications requiring precise motion and high torque, this coupling is ideal for use in machinery that demands reliability and precision.
Top product features:
High torque zero-backlash coupling design allows for responsive systems in applications such as semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment.
The addition of keyways enables increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued.
The bellows design is able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads, accommodating all types of misalignment.
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This keyed clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. The addition of keyways allows for increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued. It has 1.250" x 30mm bores, 1/4" x 8mm keyways, 2.250" (57.2mm) OD, and 3.200" (81.3mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
