The Ruland Clamp Bellows Coupling is a high-performance, zero-backlash coupling designed for responsive systems in demanding industries such as semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. Its lightweight, low-inertia design and four-convolution bellows enable high torque and torsional stiffness, accommodating all types of misalignment while maintaining rigidity under torsional loads. The coupling's balanced design reduces vibration at high speeds up to 10,000 RPM, and its metric hardware exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards. Ideal for applications requiring precision and reliability, this coupling is suitable for use in robotics, medical devices, and other high-speed machinery.
Top product features:
High torque zero-backlash capability
Four convolution bellows design for higher torque and torsional stiffness
Ability to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads for accommodation of all types of misalignment
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. It has 1.250" x 1.250" bores, 2.250" OD, and 3.200" length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
