Ruland's Keyed Clamp Bellows Couplings offer high torque and zero-backlash performance in responsive systems for semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. With a lightweight, low inertia design and stainless steel bellows, these couplings provide flexibility and torsional stiffness to accommodate all types of misalignment. The addition of keyways increases torque capacity and prevents slipping on the shaft. Ideal for applications requiring high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM, these couplings are balanced for reduced vibration and compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations. Their compact size and high performance make them a reliable choice for a variety of industrial applications.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash coupling design allows for high torque transmission with minimal slippage.
Keyways on the hubs prevent the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued.
The bellows can flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads, accommodating all types of misalignment.
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This keyed clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. The addition of keyways allows for increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued. It has 0.750" x 15mm bores, 3/16" x 5mm keyways, 2.000" (50.8mm) OD, and 2.313" (58.8mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
