This Ruland Shaft Collar is a precision-engineered component designed for demanding applications. Its two-piece design allows for in-place installation and servicing, minimizing downtime and reducing the need for component removal. The clamp style design ensures a secure grip on the shaft without marring, and the stainless steel construction provides superior corrosion resistance. With its fine burr-free finish and precise face-to-bore perpendicularity, this collar is ideal for use as a load-bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment in industries such as aerospace, medical devices, and precision machinery. Its high-quality construction and reliable performance make it a valuable addition to any critical application.
Top product features:
The product does not mar the shaft.
It is infinitely adjustable.
It has superior holding power compared to set screw collars.
Top product applications:
Shaft alignment in precision machinery
Component mounting and holding in high-precision applications
Load bearing and mechanical stops in robotics and automation equipment
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 17mm bore, 36mm OD, and 13mm width. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by one groove on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 316 stainless steel to a fine burr-free finish with hardware of like material for consistent corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
