This Ruland balanced collar is a precision-engineered shaft component designed for high-performance applications. Its unique two-piece design allows for in-place installation and servicing, eliminating the need to remove adjacent components. The collar's balanced design and tightly controlled face-to-bore perpendicularity ensure superior holding power and precise component alignment. Manufactured from 303 stainless steel, it provides consistent corrosion resistance and meets or exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards. Suitable for high-RPM applications, it's ideal for use as a load-bearing face, mechanical stop, or component alignment in industries such as aerospace, medical, and industrial automation.
Top product features:
Infinitely adjustable for precise fit
Maintains tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of < 0.05mm)
Balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications
Top product applications:
High RPM applications requiring precision and stability
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 18mm bore, 36mm OD, and 13mm width. It has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 303 stainless steel to a fine burr-free finish with hardware of like material for consistent corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
