The Ruland Slit Coupling is a high-performance, zero-backlash coupling designed for applications requiring high torsional stiffness, low inertia, and reduced vibration. Its balanced design and two sets of slit cuts make it ideal for high-speed applications up to 7,500 RPM. This clamp-style coupling is suitable for use in various industries, including robotics, medical devices, and aerospace, where precise motion control and high-speed operation are crucial. Its ability to accommodate all forms of misalignment and low bearing loads makes it an excellent choice for protecting sensitive bearings, while its compact design and ease of installation make it a convenient solution for engineers and manufacturers.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia and high torsional stiffness
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 7,500 RPM
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 7,500 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is clamp style and has 10mm x 6mm bores, 20.0mm OD, and 26.00mm length. This long slit coupling has increased torque and misalignment capabilities when compared to short styles. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
