Ruland's Keyed Clamp Bellows Coupling is a high-performance solution for responsive systems in various industries, including semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This lightweight, low-inertia coupling features a stainless steel bellows and anodized aluminum hubs, providing a high torque zero-backlash connection. The addition of keyways increases torque capacity and prevents slippage, while the four convolution bellows design offers higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities. Ideal for applications requiring high speeds and precise alignment, this coupling accommodates all types of misalignment and reduces vibration at speeds up to 10,000 RPM, making it a reliable choice for demanding systems.
Top product features:
High torque zero-backlash coupling
Keyed clamp design with keyways for increased torque capacity and prevention of slippage on the shaft
Four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities
Ruland standard length bellows couplings are a high torque zero-backlash coupling commonly found in responsive systems on semiconductor, solar, test and measurement, and printing equipment. This keyed clamp type bellows coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs and a stainless steel bellows creating a lightweight low inertia coupling. The addition of keyways allows for increased torque capacity and prevents the coupling from slipping on the shaft when over torqued. It has 20mm x 0.625" bores, 6mm x 3/16" keyways, 2.000" (50.8mm) OD, and 2.313" (58.8mm) length. This coupling has a four convolution bellows for higher torque and torsional stiffness capabilities than equivalent couplings with more convolutions. The bellows are able to flex while remaining rigid under torsional loads allowing for all types of misalignment to be accommodated. This bellows coupling has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
