The Ruland MSP-26-P shaft collar is a precision-engineered component ideal for use in light duty applications where corrosion resistance and precise alignment are critical. Its two-piece design allows for in-place installation and servicing, minimizing downtime and reducing the risk of damage to adjacent components. The collar's tightly controlled face-to-bore perpendicularity and fine burr-free finish ensure optimal performance and longevity. Suitable for use as a load-bearing face, mechanical stop, or component alignment tool, this shaft collar is a reliable choice for a wide range of applications, including machinery, automation, and robotics. Its durable acetal plastic construction provides superior holding power.
Top product features:
Do not mar the shaft
Have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars
Maintain tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of < 0.05mm)
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 26mm bore, 48mm OD, and 15mm width. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by one groove on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from acetal plastic to a fine burr-free finish for use in light duty applications where corrosion resistance is required. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
